Center for Comparative and International Studies in cooperation with Center Science and Innovation for Development and Mesdheu Center are organizing the first workshop in Tirana in the framework of Europe for Citizen Project “Youth involvement in a constructive dialogue: Communist Past in Contemporary Western Balkan” (YOU-WB).

In a blended format from 9 – 11 April 2021, this workshop will bring together academics, researchers, experts, civil society activists, and young people to discuss the involvement of youth in a constructive dialogue regarding the communist past focusing on the case of Albania. 85 young people have applied following the call for applications back in March 2021 from Albania, Italy, France, and North Macedonia.

In addition to the two days of the workshop, presentation by speakers, and participation of young people, the third visit includes visits to House of Leaves in Tirana and a tour of the capital.
