The National Digital Rights Festival - 24 May, Tirana, Albania

The National Digital Rights Festival took us throughout Albania – Vlora/Fier, Shkodra, Pogradec and Tirana – with the aim of empowering civil society organizations and youth in protecting their digital lights and fostering their cyber resilience. We have selected 15 Digital Rights and Cybersecurity Ambassadors, who have held YouthLed Digital Rights Talks in their cities, and foster peer-to-peer knowledge transfer with their local communities.

As the journey comes to an end, we invite you to join our concluding event, to be held on May 24, in Tirana, at Tulla Culture Center, to discuss about advancing digital rights and cybersecurity with our ambassadors and the Data Protection Commissioner, the Director General of the National Authority of Cybersecurity in Albania, and the Antidiscrimination Commissioner.

The National Festival of Digital Rights is supported by the regional project “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Common Values in the Western Balkans” implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD), the Institute for Democracy and Mediation, and the Center for Research and Policy-Making (CRPM) with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
